Some of the things I make are “art”…?

Although I could always draw, when choosing a major entering college in 1967, Art was never an option. The well-known living artists at that time rarely included anyone whose work represented reality in any way. It was the pinnacle of non-objective art, in particular the Washington Color School.

The skill of drawing was better suited for design, not art. I also had the math and engineering skills that went along with architecture.
